Favicon - more of a novelty for websites improving the aesthetics of your toolbar and making the content of your website more obvious!
I could really see the style of this website being incorporated into my website with the idea of a large header image (logo+focus)...

A very interactive and quite unnecessary layout for the website which sort of contradicts its bold text; 'What is vital is simple. A project is simple!'... Although the visual appeal of the website was very striking and professionally put together, it kind of lost the appreciation for this through its dragged out/ slow-mo transitions.
The most striking of websites in my opinion are the ones that contain large background images and clearly ordered information....
The most striking part of Pizza Expresses website is probably its header with the drastic white lines and logo.
The content of the website really reflects the restaurants traditions, using a bold red for the titles which is seen in the flag of Japan. The heritages of japanese food are also complimented...
