Investigating Literature and visually seeing how paper can be incorporated into art. 

Following on from previous research it seemed to be quite a popular direction to create objects from structural forms of paper, although it seemed quite a saturated idea, it always looked excellent when done to a high standard as you can see from the photographs below...















Investigating different binding techniques. For the final products we knew we'd have to bind the paper effectively because the paper would be quite delicate due to its fine detail on some of the pages. We've minimised the risk of rips and tears by planning our designs all within the same square frame, which should hopefully give the pages some rigidity.





Reviewing different paper weights gave us a better idea of how the publication would feel as one with all the pages together. We needed something that wasn't too flimsy and that wasn't too stiff, this is because the cut out sections would rip if the paper didn't support the designs.
